Incentive programmes
Grant
Business Oregon manages several incentive programs that offer grant/forgivable loan options directly to businesses that invest in Oregon and create well paying jobs. Many of these programs are based on number of jobs being created, wages offered, and total investment in the site.
Tax Exemption
Oregon offers property tax abatement on eligible properties that create jobs in Oregon. These programs can offer between 3-15 years of abatement.
Loan/Loan Participation
Business Oregon offers a wide variety of loan programs that can support business expansion, retention and recruitment.
Shovel-ready sites
Columbia Commerce Center. This site is 350acres of shovel ready industrially zoned land. It is a short distance from downtown Portland and will access a wide skilled workforce encompassing multiple counties. The site includes Enterprise Zone benefits, through the fence access to local airport, access to Bonneville Power sourced energy, and is priced to sell.
Site detailsGrahams Ferry Industrial Center. This site is over 148k sqft of new development lease space on 8.5 acres, ready for warehousing/distribution, office, light manufacturing, or other needs. It is located within the Portland Metro Area which gives access to a wide skilled workforce, multiple housing options, and elevate livability. The site is ready for occupancy and zoned industrial. It has multiple loading docks and can be split to serve multiple businesses.
Site detailsWynooski Mill Site. This site is over 100 acres of shovel ready land and can serve multiple industries. It is for sale, has access to major transportation, near new affordable housing for workforce needs, and has access to wide skilled workforce area. It can support over a million square foot building and does have Enterprise Zone benefits.
