Programmes for international technology startups

Permanent Property Tax Reclassifications: For firms which qualify for US Foreign Trade Zone designation, property taxes are permanently reduced by approximately 70%. For many companies, this reduction more than offsets the cost of land purchase over a 20-year period. Research & Development: Provides an Arizona income tax credit for increased research and development activities conducted in this state, including research conducted at a state university and funded by the company. Investor account, as submitted

“Arizona was simply the best state for us to establish ElectraMeccanica’s first U.S. assembly operations. Working closely with the ACA highlighted why Arizona’s talent pool, infrastructure and growing electric vehicle ecosystem made it the ideal location for the future of ElectraMeccanica. I would like to recognize Governor Ducey and Sandra Watson for their leadership and the City of Mesa for their collaboration. We look forward to creating quality jobs, contributing to the community and producing our US-made, eco-friendly electric vehicles in Arizona.” Kevin Pavlov, President and CEO of ElectraMeccanica.
